Directional Statement
An organizational Annual Directional Statement (ADS) records the organization’s goals for the year and should include goals for both the board and operations. These goals should be tangible and measureable. Not subjective.
The CEO/ED and board should report each month on the status of the goals. The ADS is the primary tool to be used at the end of the year for the CEO/ED performance review and for the board to assess their accomplishments.
